Purpose of using Jotun Texotile Paint

Used to create pattern coating or create spikes on the surface of masonry walls, mortar, concrete, precast concrete.

Note

Thickness and rating of paint depends on pattern/thorn style.

The average norm is 0.9 – 1.5 kg/m2.

Surface preparation

Surface to be painted must be undamaged, clean, free of dust, grease and cement resin, etc. For dirty and chalked surfaces, it is necessary to clean with a stiff bristle brush.

Conditions during painting

Apply at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C. The surface temperature should be at least 3ºC above the dew point of the air. Ambient temperature and humidity are measured in the area around the surface.

Dry time
In general, drying time is often related and depends on factors such as air circulation, temperature, thickness, number of coats. The figures given below are based on the following conditions:
* Good ventilation (outdoor or with free circulation of air)
* Standard film thickness
* One layer on the surface of untreated steel
* Relative humidity at 70%

Preserve

This product should be stored in accordance with the safety regulations of each country. It is best to store the product in a cool, dry place, combined with good ventilation. Away from sources of heat and ignition. Product containers must be tightly closed.

Health and safety
